Jean Hurricane is a trial lawyer with over 20 years experience handling a wide variety of  litigation matters involving real estate and construction matters, insurance coverage, securities, personal injury/product liability, and commercial litigation.

Construction and Real Estate Disputes

Ms. Hurricane represents owners, landlords, tenants, developers, prime contractors, subcontractors, and lenders in matters involving:

  • Automobile

 

Securities’ Litigation

Ms. Hurricane has represented broker dealers and private equity companies in FINRA customer complaints.

Representative Matters

  • Represented owners/developers in numerous residential home and condominium developments throughout California.
  • Represented a large national health system on insurance coverage issues including representing them in several multi-million dollar insurance coverage lawsuits with their reinsurers, many of which resulted in substantial settlements for the client.
  • Successfully defended in arbitration a fraudulent inducement case involving a service agreement between a national credit card lender and one of its collections attorneys.
  • Represented the electrical subcontractor in a mechanic’s lien/breach of contract case involving the multi billion dollar Las Vegas CityCenter project.
