CONTACTStephanie Foster is a trial attorney whose practice centers on real estate litigation. She represents clients in bench and jury trials, arbitrations, and contested hearings across the full spectrum of property disputes, bringing a strategic, courtroom-focused approach to every matter.
Stephanie’s real estate litigation experience spans the full range of disputes that arise from the ownership, use, and transfer of property. She handles landlord-tenant litigation, including warranty of habitability claims, quiet enjoyment and constructive eviction, lease disputes, and unlawful detainer proceedings. She also represents clients in commercial real estate disputes, HOA disputes, partition actions, receiverships, and a wide variety of other real property matters. Her trial background allows her to assess and prepare each case with the end goal in mind from the outset.
Stephanie received her J.D. from Southwestern Law School, where she was a Dean’s Merit Scholar and John J. Schumacher Minority Leadership Scholarship recipient, and was awarded the ALI-ABA Scholar and Leadership Award in 2011. She served as managing editor of the Southwestern Journal of International Law. She received her B.A. from the University of San Francisco.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Stephanie relocated to San Francisco in 2011. She volunteers with various youth programs at the YMCA and enjoys sailing, golfing, and skiing. Stephanie and her husband have four sons who keep them very busy.
